True resistive leakage current (I0r) Generally, the leakage current (I0) includes the capacitive leakage current(I0c) originated in capacitance and the resistive leakage current (I0r) originated in insulation resistance of the power line as below drawing. For accurate leakage current measurements ,it is necessary to measure true resistive leakage current (I0r) excluding capacitive leakage current.
